Education is the foundation of each child’s economic future, as well as the foundation of our state’s future economic success. We must prioritize education, especially in rural areas. The bar is constantly rising in the competition between states, and competition in the world.

Oklahoma has ranked at or near the bottom consistently over the last several years. We must do better supporting the teachers and administrators with tools and resources to build a brighter future for the children of our state, and our economy. We must seek out and learn from all sources ways to improve. We must eliminate unnecessary distractions like trying to put Bibles in classrooms and go back to the core educational principles that helped build the most innovative and prosperous nation in the world.
